The marks listed below are owned by Tommy Gandemer, sole trader, trading as Maison Van Kraft. All rights reserved.

Protected marks

  • MAISON VAN KRAFT™ — word mark, used in connection with authored objects, sculptural works, jewellery, and related goods and services.
  • MVK™ — word mark and abbreviated house signature.
  • MVK ATELIER™ — word mark designating the collector division of the house, used for numbered, signed, one-of-one objects.
  • The MVK monogram™ — figurative mark; the asymmetrical interlocked M, V and K with central red triangle, in any colour or material variation.
  • The MVK Atelier mark™ — figurative mark; the interlocked V and K with superscript A, in any colour or material variation.

Permitted use

Editorial reference to Maison Van Kraft, MVK or MVK Atelier — for example, in press, reviews, museum documentation, or academic writing — is permitted provided the marks are reproduced accurately, unaltered, and not used in a manner that suggests endorsement, partnership, or affiliation without prior written authorisation.

Prohibited use

The following are expressly prohibited without prior written licence from the owner:

  • Reproduction or imitation of the monogram or any variant of it on goods, packaging, or marketing.
  • Use of the names Maison Van Kraft, MVK or MVK Atelier as part of a product name, brand name, domain name, social handle, or company name.
  • Modification, recolouring, distortion, redrawing, or stylistic re-interpretation of any mark.
  • Use that suggests authentication, certification, sponsorship, or origin from the house when none exists.
  • Use on counterfeit, replica, or unauthorised reproductions of any work attributed to the house.

Authentication of works

Each MVK Atelier object is one-of-one, hand-signed and accompanied by a numbered certificate referenced in the house registry. Any object bearing the marks but lacking a matching registry reference should be presumed inauthentic.

Reporting misuse

To report suspected infringement, counterfeiting, or unauthorised use of any of the marks, please write to the house via the contact form. Include where possible: the URL or location of the alleged misuse, the date observed, and any supporting screenshots or images.

Notice

MVK, the MVK monogram, MAISON VAN KRAFT, MVK ATELIER and the MVK Atelier mark are trademarks of Tommy Gandemer. The ™ symbol denotes claimed common-law rights; the ®symbol will be used in jurisdictions where registration has been granted.
