1. The House
Maison Van Kraft (also referred to as MVK and MVK Atelier) is a trading name of Tommy Gandemer, sole trader. References to "we", "us", "the House", "MVK" or "Maison Van Kraft" in these terms refer to this same entity.
2. The Works
Each work offered by the House is one-of-one, individually authored, numbered and signed. Minor variations in finish, patina, dimension and material are inherent to the craft and are not defects.
3. Commissions & Enquiries
Commission requests submitted via the contact form are enquiries only and do not constitute a binding order. A commission becomes binding once accepted in writing by the House and a deposit is received. Lead times, materials and final price are confirmed in that written acceptance.
4. Payment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, commissioned works require a non-refundable deposit before work begins, with the balance due prior to dispatch. Title in any work passes only on receipt of full payment.
5. Returns
As each work is bespoke and made to order or one-of-one, sales are final and works are not eligible for return or exchange except where required by applicable consumer law.
6. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to the foregoing, the House's liability in respect of any work is limited to the price paid for that work.
7. Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version is the one published on this page.
